Barbara Ann Evans, age 79, passed away peacefully at her home on February 11, 2023. Barbara was born in Bronx, NY on March 8, 1943 to parents Anthony and Angelina (Squillante) Prisciotta. On May 9, 1965, she married the love of her life George Evans in Bronx, NY. George predeceased her on April 26, 2022.

Barbara received her Bachelor's Degree from Iona College in 1989, graduating the same week as her son Christopher.

First and foremost, Barbara loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her biggest passion was photography - documenting family events with her creative shots, digitally editing, printing and developing, and creating photo albums the family will always cherish. She also loved to play computer video games, read, and watch crime shows on TV.

Barbara is survived by her loving sons, Christopher Evans (Joshua Garner) and Jonathan Evans (Jen); her beloved grandchildren: AJ, Connor, Aiden, Tanner Jordana and Willow; her beloved sister Janie Stringer (Kenneth); her daughter-in-law Patricia Bedard; her devoted niece and amazing caregiver Linda Marrone; and many, many other nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Besides her beloved husband George, she was also sadly predeceased by her son George Evans in 2018.

Calling hours will be held at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Rt. 82 Hopewell Junction, NY on Friday February 17, 2023 from 5-8 pm and Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 10:15-11:15 am. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday February 18, 2023 at 11:15 am at the funeral home followed by a procession to Raymond Hill Cemetery in Carmel for burial.
