Hopewell Junction – Barbara L. Fasce, 75, an area resident for 20 years and formerly from Putnam County, died on August 16, 2021 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in Yonkers on December 5, 1945, she was the daughter of Miles and Louise (Zemko) Rutyna.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Peter Fasce; her daughters, Christine Fasce and Michele Scianna; her grandson, Thomas Scianna; and her sister, Linda Cotter.

Barbara is survived by her children and their spouses, Peter Fasce, Lynn-Lee and Joseph Ciano, and Joseph and Theresa Fasce; her grandchildren, Kyra-lee Scianna, Michael Scianna, Alexis Fasce, Joseph Fasce, Chris Fasce, Steven Fasce, Jake Fasce, Joseph Ciano and Alyssa Ciano; her great-grandchildren, Chelsea and Brynn-Lee; her siblings, Ray Rutyna, Dolores Higgins, and Pam Mitchell; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Funeral Service will be at 10am on Saturday at the funeral home followed by interment in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
