Barbara Ferrazza's Obituary
Barbara Ann Ferrazza, 73, a resident of Poughquag for 17 years and formerly of Yorktown and Yonkers, died on Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Center for Living & Rehabilitation in Bennington, VT.
Born of September 25, 1935 in the Bronx, she was the daughter of Thomas and Caroline Vianni Perre. She was a parishioner of St. Denis Church in Hopewell Junction.
On September 19, 1954 at St. Peter & Paul Church in Mount Vernon, Barbara married Joseph M. Ferrazza who predeceased her on April 15, 2001. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Ferrazza and his wife, Toni of West Dover, VT and Joseph Ferrazza and his wife, Karen of Poughquag; her daughter, Gina Gallagher and her husband, Stephen of Poughquag; and her grandchildren, Allysa Jeanne, Nicholas, Michael, Lori and Cassandra.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
