Barbara J. Fischer, 76, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on May 27, 2023.

She was born in New Rochelle, NY on December 18, 1946 to the late William and Marjorie Tobin. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Kenneth A. Fischer on September 14, 2011.

After raising four children, she loved children so much that she opened a day care center called Barbara's Place that she operated for many years. Her family was her everything.

Barbara is survived by her loving children, Denise Fischer, Kenneth Fischer Jr. and his wife Renah, Robert Fischer, and Lisa Wagner and her husband Greg; her grandchildren, Jonathan Ayala and his wife Victoria, Nicholas, Caitlin, Kenny, Ava and Sophia Fischer, and Briana Wagner; and her great-granddaughter, Aubrey. She was predeceased by her brother, William Tobin.

Calling hours will be held on both Thursday June 1st and Friday June 2nd, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday June 3rd at 10:30 am.
