Barbara A. Foti

Barbara A. Foti, a resident of Hopewell Junction, New York since 1995, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026, at Northern Westchester Hospital Center in Mount Kisco, New York. She was 88 years old.

Born in Yonkers, New York on April 23, 1938, Barbara was the daughter of the late William and Mildred (Carlucci) Roche.

Barbara dedicated many years of her career to serving as a medical secretary for Dr. Lee in Yonkers. Known for her kindness, organization, and friendly personality, she took great pride in her work and the relationships she built throughout her life.

Barbara found joy in life's simple pleasures. She was an avid reader who especially enjoyed romance novels and could often be found with a good book in hand. She loved treating herself to getting her hair done and always enjoyed looking her best. Above all else, Barbara treasured her family. Nothing brought a bigger smile to her face than hearing stories about her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Their accomplishments, adventures, and everyday moments filled her heart with pride and happiness.

On November 18, 1972, in Yonkers, New York, Barbara married Ronald Foti, the love of her life. Together they shared many happy years until Ronald's passing.

Barbara is survived by her loving daughter, Cathie White and her husband Ken, and her son, William Paese. She was a devoted grandmother to Kelly Johnson and her husband John, Kenneth White and his husband Joshua, Nicholas White, Brendan White and his wife Victoria, and Cora Smith. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Gabrielle Paese, Keegan Johnson, Cara Johnson, Kelsie Johnson, Michael Paese, and Gianna Paese.

In addition, Barbara is survived by her sisters, Patricia Massello-Lener, Joanne Macioli, and Maureen Ciuffetelli; her sister-in-law, Pam DeLuca; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.

In addition to her parents and her husband Ronald, Barbara was predeceased by her former husband, Eugene Paese.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Barbara's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
