Barbara Pauline Joyce, a resident of Fishkill, NY since 1967, formerly of Yonkers and Brooklyn, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. She was 80.

Daughter of the late Robert Vincent and Edith (Walker) Dinsdale, she was born in Brooklyn on October 29, 1944. She was an active parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill and worked as manager, auditor, and bookkeeper in Dutchess County, retiring in 2006. An avid reader, Barbara's other hobbies included jigsaw puzzles, memory games, and crocheting.

On October 19, 1963, she married John P. Joyce, Sr. in Yonkers. John survives at home in Fishkill.

Additional survivors include her daughter, Doreen Joyce of Wallkill, NY; her son, Dean Joyce (Johanna Fuertes) of Glendale, AZ; her daughter, Denise Jazzo (Marcus Miree) of Jacksonville, FL; her son, John P. Joyce, Jr. (Carmelina Joyce) of Cookeville, TN; her grandson, John P. Joyce, III of Beacon, NY; her granddaughter, Amber Lynn Ilker (Jake Rand) of Poughkeepsie, NY; her niece, Diane Hammond (Richard Hammond) of Rifton, NY; as well as four step-grandchildren, eight step-great-grandchildren; and many other loving relatives.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Saturday, May 10 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30am on Monday, May 12 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY.
