POUGHKEEPSIE-Barbara M. Moran,77, a resident of Poughkeepsie for 48 years and formerly of Englewood, NJ, died on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in New York City on October 22, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Philomena Ambrosino.
Barbara enjoyed playing bridge and traveling with her family and friends, but most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Asterino of Rexford; her son, Christopher P. Moran and his wife Mary of Hopewell Junction; and her grandchildren, Michael and Thomas Asterino and Kyle and Meredith Moran. Barbara was pre-deceased by her daughter, Michaela Moran and her granddaughter, Jessica Michaela Moran.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 1 – 3pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, followed by the funeral service at 3pm.
