LAGRANGE – Barbara Ann Schmansky, 58, died on February 28, 2022 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii on May 23, 1963, she was the daughter of Robert and Roseanne (Muranelli) Boyle. Barbara was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a talented home decorator and enjoyed restoring antique furniture.
On November 16, 1984 in the Bronx, Barbara married Gary Schmansky who survives at home. She is also survived by her children and their spouses, Gary and Marissa Schmansky, Robert and Gianna Schmansky, and Melissa Schmansky; her grandchildren, Robert, Bradley, Lincoln, and Elena; her father, Robert Boyle; her sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Daniel Pannissidi; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 3-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction with a funeral service at 6:30pm. There will be a graveside service on Friday at 10:30am at Fishkill Rural Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home at 9:30am for the procession to the cemetery.
