HOPEWELL JUNCTION – Barbara A. Rose Tempestilli, 54, died on March 20, 2022 at home. An area resident since 1997, she previously lived in Mahopac.

Born in the Bronx on November 12, 1967, Barbara was the daughter of the late Edward and Barbara (Comstock) Rose. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Heller Shoe Store in Mount Kisco for over 30 years until her retirement. She enjoyed fishing and crabbing with her fiancé and his family. Barbara was one of the founders of Furry Friends Pet Rescue, and will be remembered by all who knew her as a caring individual who loved animals and always helped people.

She is survived by her fiancé, Raymond Gallinger of Hopewell Junction; her brothers, Edward Rose of Schenectady and Donald Rose and his wife Linda of Puyallup, WA; and many nieces and nephews.
