Barbara Ann Verlin, age 78, of the Bronx, passed away on September 16, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in the Bronx on October 24, 1944 to the late Edward and Mae (Ahr) Behringer.

She attended St. Helena High School and later, Dutchess Community College. Barbara was employed by the United States Postal Service. She proudly served in the Air National Guard and the United States Coast Guard.

Barbara had a passion for learning and continuing education. She was an avid book reader, a huge New York Yankees fan, and loved to play bingo.

Barbara is survived by her son William Verlin and his significant other Kory Ann of Wappingers Falls, NY; her daughter Laura Frampton of New Windsor, NY; her brother Edward Behringer and his wife Katie of Saratoga Springs, NY; her grandson Justin Frampton and his wife Kayla of New Windsor, NY; her granddaughter Jessika Frampton and her husband Eric Montanya of Walkill, NY; her grandson Thomas Frampton and his wife RaeMarie Barry of Crested Butte, Co.; her great-grandchildren Carter, Jaxson and Harlee Frampton; and Savannah, Kassandra and Eric John Montanya.

In addition to both parents, Barbara was predeceased by her brother James Behringer.

Memorial calling hours will be held on October 29, 2023 from 1-3 pm with a funeral service at 2:30 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc. 1089 Main Street Fishkill.
