FISHKILL – Bartholomew J. Anastasi, 67, died on October 20, 2017 at home surrounded by his family.

Born in New York City on October 1, 1950, he was the son of the late Joseph and Filomenia (Castelli) Anastasi. He proudly served in the US Army. Bart was employed as a computer programmer for IBM in East Fishkill. He will be remembered as an avid outdoorsman.

On December 5, 1982, Bart married Jane Ann (Eggleston)Anastasi who survives at home. He is also survived by his daughter Elizabeth Anastasi and son-in-law, Peter Natale; and a sister and brother. In addition to his parents, Bart was also predeceased by 2 brothers.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 5-8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 10 am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church followed by burial at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
