Bernadette (nee Beggs) Wrafter passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. May she rest in peace.

Born in Dublin, Ireland on October 23, 1933, Bernadette was the daughter of the late Robert and Anne (Murphy) Beggs. On August 16, 1967 at the Church of the Holy Name in Dublin, Ireland, she married Joseph Wrafter who predeceased her. Bernadette is survived by her son Eoin, daughter-in-law Paula and three darling grandsons, Noah, Aaron, and Joel of Poughkeepsie. Bernadette was also predeceased by her sisters Ethel Manzanares and Maureen Beggs.

Bernadette was a devoted parishioner of St. Columba Church and worked for IBM until her retirement.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 16, from 5-7 pm at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 17, at 10 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Interment will follow at St. Denis Cemetery.
