Bernard R. Pasqua, 89, of Lake Worth, FL for 25 years and formerly of Yonkers, NY, died on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the Bruce W. Carter Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Miami, FL.
Born in Yonkers on October 28, 1921, he was the son of Gaetano and Domenica Spano Pasqua. He served in the US Air Force during World War II and owned and operated his own electronics business for 33 years.
On September 14, 1947 in Yonkers, Bernard married Jean DiLello who survives at home. He is also survived by his children, Robert Pasqua of Miami, FL, Thomas Pasqua of Hopewell Junction, NY and Janice Swartz of Lexington, MA; his sister, Gloria Troy; six grandchildren and one great-garndchild.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by entombment in the Shrine of Memories at Ferncliff Cemetery with military honors.
