Bethann
Hoffman
February 24, 1959 – February 9, 2026
BethAnn Hoffman, a beloved resident of Fishkill, NY since 1991, passed away on February 9, 2026, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 66 years old.
Born on February 24, 1959, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, BethAnn was the cherished daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Kratt) Sige. From a young age, BethAnn felt a calling to care for others, a calling she answered with unwavering devotion for more than 46 remarkable years as a nurse.
BethAnn proudly graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1979, beginning a lifelong career that was far more than a profession, it was her passion, her purpose, and her gift to the world. As a dedicated nurse for over four decades, she touched countless lives with her skill, compassion, patience, and fierce advocacy for her patients. To BethAnn, nursing was not just what she did, it was who she was. She gave all of herself fully, often placing the needs of others before her own, and she was deeply proud of the work she did and the lives she helped heal.
A devoted parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill, BethAnn's faith guided her life and service. Outside of her career, she enjoyed yoga and was a passionate supporter of animal rights and local shelters, always standing up for those without a voice.
True to her Pittsburgh roots, BethAnn was a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins, while also cheering on the New York Yankees. Above all else, however, nothing brought her greater joy than being with her grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure. They were her pride, her laughter, and her heart.
BethAnn is survived by her loving children: Jared Hoffman (Jenna), Joelene McCusker (Pat), and Dale Hoffman; and her treasured grandchildren: Hendrix Hoffman, Mila Hoffman, Jones Hoffman, Ainsley McCusker, and Ayla McCusker. She is also survived by her brothers John Sige (Cheryl) and Frank Sige (Tammy); her aunt Frances Vandegrift; her brother-in-law Anthony Hoffman (Angela); several loving nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog Chester.
In addition to her parents, BethAnn was predeceased by her beloved brother Kevin Sige.
