FISHKILL – Betty J. Harrington, a Fishkill resident for more than 26 years and formerly of Yonkers, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 80.

Daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Lewer) Treacy, she was born in Yonkers on November 24, 1940.

Betty is survived by her husband, Donald G. Harrington, at home in Fishkill.

Additional survivors include her daughter, Dorie Fernandes & her husband John of Fishkill; her son, Danny O'Sullivan and his wife Maureen of Pleasantville; her daughter, Maureen Cowan & her husband Rob of Wappingers Falls; her grandchildren, John Fernandes, Jr., Kristen Fernandes, Timmy Ehlberg, Devin O'Sullivan, Kyle Cowan, Sean Cowan, and Kimberly Cowan; her sister, Carrie Watt; and many other loving relatives & friends.

She was predeceased by her parents as well as her brothers, David Treacy and William Watt; and her sister, Carole Wasylenko.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 21 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 22 at the funeral home, followed by interment at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
