Betty Louise Robinson, 75, a lifelong resident of Dutchess County, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, April 2, 2015.

Betty was born on June 29, 1939 in Rhinebeck to the late Dorothy Anna Sherman and James Donegan. She was a graduate of the class of 1956 from Roosevelt High School.

Through her life Betty worked in the food service industry and was a NYS certified home health care aide until she her retirement in 2001. Betty's greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed Bingo and posting on Facebook.

Betty is survived by her sons; Franklin Goodchild and his wife Cindy, and Richard Goodchild and his wife, Lucy; her grandchildren, Joshua Goodchild and his wife Jeanette, Jessica Finkle and her husband Harry, Leighann Dockery and her husband John, Kylie Goodchild, Katharine DiCerbo and her husband Luca, and Kevin Ruhle; her great grandchildren, Lawson, Brayden and Peyton Finkle, and Rylee Dockery; her former husband and friend, Franklin H. Goodchild, Sr., and her best friend, Donna Lusk. She is predeceased by her husband George Dumaine; her daughter Debra Anne Goodchild; her brother James Donegan; and her close cousin Darryl "Babe" Von Richthofen.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7 at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc, 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 7pm.
