Beverley R. Montfort, 69, a lifelong area resident, died on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at her home, following long illness, with her husband Bruce F. Nestler at her side.
Born in Beacon on July 27, 1946, she was the daughter of Walter and Mabel Purdy Robinson. Beverley was the bookkeeper at Montfort Brothers for many years. She had also worked in the Purchasing Department at IBM in East Fishkill. She loved dancing, music and bowling, and was also a strong supporter of the North Shore Animal League.
