Biagio Intravaia, 62, a resident of Hopewell Junction for nine years and formerly of the Bronx, died on August 6, 2025 at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Palermo, Italy on November 28, 1962, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Maria Intravaia. Biagio had been employed as a bus operator for Liberty Lines in Yonkers. He had served as a troop leader for the Boy Scouts of America. He was an avid Star Wars and Legos collector. Biagio also enjoyed building things, hunting, fishing, and camping.

On April 16, 1988 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in the Bronx, Biagio married the love of his life, Kathleen Geoghegan, who survives at home. He is also survived by his children, James Intravaia and his wife Brianne, Caitlin Sanabria and her husband Ryan, and Brian Intravaia and his girlfriend Bianca; and his grandchildren, Daniel, Christopher, Andrew and Madison. He was looking forward to the birth of his granddaughter, Ava, next month.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-6pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.

Memorial donations may be made to the East Fishkill Rescue Squad or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
