Obituary

Blair James Caswell, 90, a resident of Port St. Lucie, Florida, died on January 28, 2025, at his home. He was surrounded by his loving family during his final days.

Born in Wallkill, New York on February 14, 1934, he was the son of Clifford and Estella (Lipsett) Caswell. Blair proudly served our country in the US Army from 1956-1958. He was employed as a Purchasing Manager for IBM for 35 years in New York and Florida.

In 1957, Blair married the love of his life, Margery Deegan. In retirement, they settled in Port St. Lucie in 2005, where they enjoyed many years of warm weather, Mets Spring training games, golf and good friends. He was also an avid NY Giants fan!

Blair is survived by his wife of 67 years, Margery; his children, Stephen Caswell and Bonnie McHoul Wiegard of Stormville, NY, Debra and Michael Perez of Newburgh, NY, and Scott and Felicia Caswell of Wallkill, NY; 5 grandchildren: Dana and Chad Houser, Michael Perez, Ciara Perez and Marcus Obie, Todd Caswell, and Blair and Dylan Wellmon, and 5 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his grandson, James Caswell.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 11am at the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, 1011 Route 52, Walden, NY 12586.
