Obituary

Bradley Peter Davis, 61, a lifelong area resident, died suddenly on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in Harrison on May 14, 1954, he was the son of Frederick and Frances Davis. He graduated from John Jay High School in 1972 and was named the Dutchess County Amateur Player that same year. Brad had been the golf pro at both James Baird State Park and Carvel Country Club. He holds the course record at Baird Park. In addition to his love of golf, Brad was also a big football fan who loved the New York Giants.

Brad is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Davis; his sister, Roberta Van Buskirk Ossenkop and her husband John; his sister-in-law, Darlene Davis; his nieces and nephews, Lisa Brenner, Linda Rutherford, Rob Ostrander, Keith Ostrander, Tracey Kakiuchi, Michael Davis and Rick Davis; and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Fred Davis Jr. He loved his family very much and he will be in their hearts always.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1-4:30pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by a funeral service at 4:30pm.
