Brenda Lorraine Candelaria, 56, a resident of Pleasant Valley for 13 years and formerly of Long Beach, died on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center following a long illness.

Born in East Meadow on April 27, 1953, she was the daughter of Edith Hall Moore of Stormville and the late Robert Moore.  She was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse for several years.

Brenda is survived by her mother; her husband, George Candelaria, at home; her children, Robert Lorenzo of Wappingers Falls, Dominique Candelaria of Pleasant Valley and Angelina Candelaria of Poughkeepsie; her granddaughter, Victoria Lee Lorenzo; her sister, Gloria Bisignano of Stormville; and her brother, Robert Moore of Wisconsin.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.  The Funeral Service will follow at 5:00 p.m.
