Brenda Chiappe, of Fishkill, died at the River Valley Nursing Center in Poughkeepsie on Saturday, March 2, 2013 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 55.
Born in Ecuador on November 4, 1957, Brenda emigrated to the United States at the age of 7. She spent most of her life in Queens and moved to Fishkill in 2000. After moving to the local area, she worked for many years as a greeter at Sam's Club in Fishkill.
She leaves behind her husband, Milton H. Chiappe, who survives at home; her daughter, Jessica Ayala of Long Island; her mother, Gloria Barahona Limones of Queens; her father, Clemente Limones of Brooklyn; her sister, Gina Suarez of Long Island; her brother, Jimmy Limones & his wife Gina of Long Island; and several nieces, nephews and many other loving relatives & friends.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 9 p.m. on Monday, March 4 and Tuesday, March 5 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill. Entombment will follow in the Community Mausoleum at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
