WAPPINGERS FALLS - Brenda Mary Lane, a Wappingers Falls resident, passed away on Monday December 23, 2024. She was 58 years old.

Brenda was born in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn on March 26, 1966. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Marist College. She was an auditor for different companies throughout the years in the local area. She and was a CPA for many years as well.

When Brenda wasn't working, she was shopping. She also loved to cook for her family and hosted many gatherings at her home. She enjoyed trips to Long Beach Island in New Jersey for many years with family and friends. She had an infatuation with animals, especially her Yellow-Lab mix, King, whom she loved and cared for greatly. She loved to garden as well.

Survivors include her sons, Christopher & Ryan; her father John McCormack; her brother John & his wife Maureen; her sister Eileen; her nieces Laura Kumor & Amy Tierney; her great nephews Oakley & Mason; and her dog, King.

She was predeceased by her mother Barbara (Barrett) McCormack on April 10th of this year.

Calling hours will be held from 11 am to 2 pm. on Sunday, December 29, at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A service will take place at the funeral at 1:30 pm.
