WAPPINGERS FALLS – Brendan John Paredes, 37, was a beloved son and brother who struggled with mental illness and addiction until he could no longer struggle. During that time, he filled us with memories of his unmatched sense of humor, his love of animals and his encyclopedia knowledge of music. Whoever knew him remembers laughing with him.

He will be missed daily by his family, friends and is his loving girlfriend, Tasha Mathew. As his essence fades and changes to its new form, we know he is happy.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a service at 8pm.
