HOPEWELL JUNCTION-Brian F. Tompkins, 65, a resident of 25 years passed away at home on Feb. 5, 2023.

Born in Peekskill on June 13th, 1957, Brian was the son of the late Richard Sr. and Loretta Tompkins. Brian married Jennifer (Albert) Tompkins on May 16th ,1987 at St. Columbanus Church in Cortlandt. Sadly, she pre-deceased him in 2018.

Brian retired from Con Edison in Rye after 40 years of dedicated service where he was a Control Center Supervisor, a Field Supervisor, and most importantly, a dedicated Lineman.

Brian was a 1974 Westchester All-County First Team Middle Linebacker for Peekskill High School.

He enjoyed riding his Harley, spending time with family and friends, golfing with his buddies in Florida, and bringing his dog, Stella, to the park.

He will be remembered as a loving husband, a devoted father, a proud "Poppy", a great brother, and a loyal friend.

He is survived by his sons, Brian Tompkins and his wife Brianna of Hopewell Jct., Daren Tompkins and his wife Rebecka of Danbury CT., Sean Tompkins and his girlfriend Bridget of Hopewell Jct., his newborn grandson Finn Tompkins, all of his siblings and their spouses, Richard Jr. and Sandra Tompkins, Cheryl and Antoine Giannoni, his beloved dog Stella, and all of his nieces, nephews and friends.

Calling hours will be held at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction on Saturday February 11th from 3-7pm with a funeral service at 7pm.
