LAGRANGEVILLE - Carl John Schleicher, 21, a lifelong area resident, died unexpectedly on June 24, 2014 at home.

Carl was born in Carmel on February 18, 1993. He is survived by his parents, John and Ida (Filomio) Schleicher; his brothers, Steven and John Schleicher; his grandparents, Louise Filomio and Maryanne and Henry Schleicher; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 10 am at Saint Kateri Church, 1925 Route 82, LaGrangeville followed by burial at St. Denis Cemetery.
