Carmen Annicchiarico, 87, an area resident for 22 years and formerly of Hastings-on-Hudson, died peacefully on October 30, 2025 at the Hudson Valley Hospice House.

Born in Yonkers on October 23, 1938, he was the son of the late Frank Annicchiarico and Carmela Filomena. Carmen was employed by the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson as a sanitation engineer for 36 years and operated his own business for 40 years. He was retired from the Village for 32 years, an accomplishment he would tell anyone he could. He was a member of the Hastings Southside Athletic Club. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family at their Adirondack Lake house.

On February 4, 1967 at the Park Hill Reformed Church in Yonkers, Carmen married Nancy Furrie who survives at home. He is also survived by his sons and their wives, Jim and Jennifer (Coughlin) Annicchiarico, and Robert and Kim Annicchiarico; his son-in-law, Matthew VanDoren; his grandchildren, Caitlyn, Halle, Jillian, Michael, Lauren, Katherine and Christian, step-grandchildren Gage & Claire; his great-grandson, Marcello; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his daughter, Amy VanDoren on July 19, 2025; and his siblings, John Anthony, Frank, James and Joseph Annicchiarico, and Mary Rinaldi.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1-4pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a service at 4pm.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
