Carol Ann Baxman, 77, a local area resident since 2020, formally of Yonkers, died on Friday, February 28, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital.

Born in Eugene, Oregon on September 29, 1947, Carol was the daughter of the late Charles Fitschen and Grace Hanson, and stepfather Robert Petty.

Carol's career in banking spanned over several decades including time as a branch manager for Hudson Valley Bank at several branches in Westchester County where she retired from.

A loving mother and grandmother, Carol enjoyed spending time with her family and doting on her puppies. Carol also enjoyed taking day trips exploring the tri-state area. She was a fashionable woman who took great pride in her appearance (especially when it came to her hair and nails). She was a sun worshipper known for her extra-large sunglasses and great tan.

She is survived by her children, Larry Baxman and Joanne Santorelli, son-in-law Nick Santorelli; her grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, and Nicholas; brother Charles Keith Fitschen, sister-in-law Donna Fitschen, sister Mariann Markard, brother-in-law Edgar Markard, sister Patricia Taylor and brother-in-law Steve Taylor. She cherished her nieces Kathryn Fitschen and Victoria Markard, and nephews Keith and Scott Fitschen.

Go in peace Carol, knowing how much you were loved.

Visitation will be held on Friday March 7, 2025 from 5pm to 7pm at McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill Inc. 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. Memorial mass will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 10am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church 106 Jackson Street Fishkill, NY.
