Carol E Dawes
Carol was entered into her eternal rest on Wednesday May 19, 2021. She was born on Dec 14,1938 to Blair and Francis Hein of Fishkill NY. Carol was the eldest of two children, predeceased by her Brother Blair, her parents and son Michael Pensiero. She enjoyed traveling, reading, shopping and making others laugh. Carol attended school locally in Dutchess County where she continued her legacy as a substance abuse counselor for the Arch Diocese. Carol was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 40 years where she was a loved and respected mentor. Carol is survived by her sons Daniel Banyai, Wayne Pensiero, his wife Karen, Grand Children Angela, Hope and Nicholas along with numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday May 24th from 5-8pm at McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY 12524. A remembrance service will be conducted from 6-7pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to The American Cancer Society.
