FISHKILL – Carol Gonzales, 78, an area resident for the last 1 1/2 years, died on December 15, 2022 at home.

Born in Rockville Center on March 27, 1944, Carol was the daughter of the late Alden Lee and Vivian Dorothy (Bull) Doty. She was employed as a loan officer for Citibank in Manhattan for over 20 years until her retirement.

Carol enjoyed reading, gardening, and decorating her house. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

Carol is survived by her son, Marc Pugliese and his wife Marie of Hopewell Junction; her grandchildren, Michael, Frank, Gabriella, and Nicholas; her great-granddaughter, Everleigh Pugliese; her brother, John Doty and his wife Kathy; her nieces, Denise and Jessica; and other family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Angel Gonzales.

Visitation will be held at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 3-7pm with a funeral service beginning at 6:45 pm.
