It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Carol Marie Leone, who left us unexpectedly on June 8, 2024. Carol was a cherished mother and grandmother.

Born on April 21, 1952 in Carmel, New York, Carol grew up with a zest for life and an innate ability to bring joy to everyone around her. She married Robert, and together they built a beautiful family and a life filled with love and laughter. Robert preceded her in death just four weeks earlier, and Carol faced her loss with grace and resilience.

Carol was a devoted mother to her son Rob. She was a loving grandmother to her three grandchildren: RJ, Kendall and Brenton. Her family was the center of her world, and she found immense joy in every moment spent with her son and grandchildren.

Known for her warm smile, compassionate heart, and humor, Carol touched the lives of many. Her love for gardening, cooking and art brought her peace, and was a reflection of the beauty she cultivated in her life and the lives of those around her.
Carol's unexpected departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her love, kindness, and dedication will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Rob and daughter-in-law Rachel, her three grandchildren, RJ, Kendall and Brenton as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.

A celebration of Carol's life will be held at a later date.

We take comfort in knowing that Carol is now reunited with Robert and that her spirit will continue to guide and watch over us. Rest in peace, Carol. Your love and light will forever remain in our hearts.
