Carol A. Lorenzut, age 68, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on May 18, 2024. She was born in the Bronx on November 3, 1955 to the late William and Dorothy (Finnegan) Kleber. On July 13, 1996, she married her loving husband and best friend, Sylvio Lorenzut at the Beekman Golf Course. They spent 30 happy years together.

Carol was a Registered Nurse and worked for over 25 years at Mt. Vernon Hospital in the Emergency room. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved to cook and take care of her grandkids. She also loved to shop.

In addition to her beloved husband Sylvio, Carol is survived by her children: Curt Plattner and his wife Stephanie, Alexis Plattner and her fiancé Dan Tremblay, Kimberly Lorenzut Kiel and her husband Jared, and Lindsay Ralph and her husband Harry; her grandchildren: Arianna, Allison, Mason, Dylan, Tyler, Jeremy, Brody and Alex; and her cousins Diane Tedeschi, Liz Sauer and Louis Loscalzo.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday May 22, 2024 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. 895 Route 82 Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday May 23, 2024 at 10 am at St. Denis Church 602 Beekman Rd. Hopewell, followed by burial in St. Denis Cemetery.
