Carol Ann Veltri, a Fishkill resident since 1998 and formerly of New Rochelle, died at her home on Sunday, May 27, 2012. She was 69.
Daughter of the late Pasquale and Camille Uzzilia Patti, she was born in New Rochelle on March 22, 1943. Carol was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking. She was also a parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill.
On January 26, 1963, she married Peter M. Veltri, Jr. in New Rochelle. Mr. Veltri survives at home.
Carol is also survived by her daughter, Lisa Cannizzaro & her husband Frank of Fishkill; her sons, Francis P. Veltri & his wife Theresa of Hawthorne and Peter M. Veltri III of New Rochelle; her grandchildren, Alyssa Cannizaro, Nicole Cannizzaro, Samantha Veltri, Peter M. Veltri IV, Francis P. Veltri, Jr. and Nicholas Veltri; and her brother, George Patti of New Rochelle.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson St., Fishkill, followed by interment at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
