Carole A. Damico, a lifelong local area resident, died on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 76.

Daughter of the late Louis and Adelaide (Rolandelli) Barmore, she was born on September 25, 1938. Carole was raised in Hopewell Junction, where she lived until 1960. She then moved to Poughkeepsie.

She dedicated her career to I.B.M., where she worked as a Programmer and System Analyst at the locations in East Fishkill and Poughkeepsie. She retired in 1991.

Carole was a longtime member of Zonta International, an organization dedicated to women's advocacy. She took pride in assisting the underprivileged. Her hobbies included gardening and being with her pet, Nicky.

There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, April 21 at 10 am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction. Interment will follow at St. Denis Cemetery.
