MAHOPAC – Carole L. Jacomine, 91, died on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Wingate at Fishkill.
Born in Yonkers on February 1, 1922, she was the youngest of seven children of Francis and Louise Mruk Novak. Carole was employed as a Data Clerk for Putnam-Westchester BOCES. She was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist, Mahopac and a member of the Catholic Daughters and the Columbiettes of Father Mooney Council, Knights of Columbus. Carole loved to sing and golf.
On August 29, 1942 in Yonkers, Carole married Ennio J. Jacomine who predeceased her in 2005. She was also predeceased by her sons, Robert and Ray. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Douglas and Jill Jacomine of Schenectady, and Beverly and John Sears of Stormville; her grandchildren, Kathy & Gary, Robert & Terri, John & Melissa, Paul & Renee, Megan and Michael; her great-grandchildren, Travis, Amber, Brooke Lynn, Isabelle, Henry and Sophia; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Interment will be in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
