RHINEBECK - Carole A. Tomlins, 58, a lifelong resident of Dutchess County, died suddenly on August 22, 2022 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in Poughkeepsie on February 17, 1964, she was the daughter of Richard and Barbara (Doran) Corrado. Carole graduated from Arlington High School in 1982 and from SUNY Plattsburgh. She had been employed as a chemist for Malcolm Pirnie, Inc. in White Plains and the San Francisco Water Department before starting her own business. She enjoyed her island vacations, scuba diving and was an avid gardener.

Carole is survived by her sister, Kathleen Maturo and her husband Ronald; and several nieces, nephews, great--nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her siblings, Anthony Corrado, Marie DiLandro and Vincent Corrado.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday 7pm at Good Shepherd Church, 3 Mulberry Street, Rhinebeck. Interment will be in the family plot in St. Denis Cemetery.
