EAST FISHKILL – Carolyn Pallett Brophy, 47, an area resident since 1976 and formerly of New Rochelle, passed away on October 4, 2021 at Westchester Medical Center following a brief illness.
Born in New Rochelle on March 18, 1974, she was the daughter of Ralph Pallett and the late Carolyn (Carpenick) Pallett. In 1976, Carolyn and her family moved to Dutchess Park in Fishkill, NY. She loved growing up in Dutchess Park and her face lit up whenever she reminisced about her years there. Carolyn was a friend to all she met. When there was a friend in need, she was there to help pick up the pieces.
Carolyn was the marketing director for the family business, The Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie. She also had her own radio show, "Live from The Chance" on I Heart Radio on Z93. She served as a director for RADD – Rockers Against Drunk Driving. She was a member of the East Fishkill Republican Committee. Proud of all of her accomplishments, none mattered more than being the proud mother of Brian and Tommy. She loved her boys with every ounce of her being.
Carolyn is survived by her father, Ralph; her sons, Brian Brophy, Jr. (USMC) and Thomas Brophy, her sister-in-law, Michelle Pallett; her nieces, Daniella and Angelina; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In addition to her mother, she was also predeceased by her brother, Frank Pallett, on August 11, 2021.
