Catherine "Kay" Veronica Behnken, a longtime Fishkill resident, died Monday, September 23, 2013 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. She was 91.
Born on June 18, 1922 in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mae Edwards Reynolds.
Kay is survived by her children, Jim Siefermann, Robert Siefermann, John Siefermann, Valerie Way, Gail Lawrence, Christine Cook, and Katherine Behnken; her brother, Edward Reynolds; sisters, Margaret O'Brien, Patricia Hamilton, and Dorothy Mayette; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11:30 am on Monday, September 30 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 p.m. at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill. Interment will be at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
