POUGHKEEPSIE - Catherine J. Del Cotto, 82, a lifelong area resident, died on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Mid Hudson Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She went to Heaven to celebrate Christmas with her husband as this was her most favorite time of the year.

Born in Poughkeepsie on August 9, 1933, she was the daughter of Edward and Eleanor Heinz Weber. She was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Wappingers Falls. Catherine will forever be remembered for the love she had for her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

On December 3, 1950 at St. Joseph's Church in Millbrook, Catherine married Orlando J. Del Cotto who predeceased her on May 4, 2015. They would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in December. She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Debbie and Tony Tiberio of Highland, Candy and Bill Boyd of Milton, Cathy and Jeff Boldrin of Wappingers Falls; her grandchildren, Michael and Vanessa Boyd, Todd and Tammi Boyd, Nick Tiberio, Jamielyn, Juliana and Jeffrey Boldrin; and her great grandchildren, Breanna, Tyler, Hailee, Andrew and Emily.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 7 from 7-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by a memorial service at 8pm.
