Obituary

HOPEWELL JUNCTION – A sweet soul left this earth on Thanksgiving morning. Catherine Perrotta DiAndrea died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at the Wingate at Beacon. She was 98.

Born in the Bronx on June 4, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Biaggio and Filomena (Iazetti) Delle Cave. Catherine was a kind woman, and will be remembered by her family and friends as having a big heart.

She is survived by her daughters, Grace "Dolly' Geremino of West Palm Beach, FL and Phyllis O'Hare and her husband Thomas of Hopewell Junction; her grandchildren and their spouses, Darlene and Christopher Sheeran, Nicholas and Linda Geremino, Dr. Michael and Camille Geremino, Catherine and John D'Avanzo, Jennifer and Michael Camera, Michelle and Jamie Hogan, and Thomas and Meredith O'Hare; and her great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Katherine, Christopher, Michael, Rachel, Marc, Alyssa, Jessica, Vincent, John, Bridget, Grace, James, Allyson, and Abigail. She was also predeceased by her husband, Louis Perrotta in 1970 and her son-in-law, Michael Geremino on October 29, 2015.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4- 8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday at 10 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
