Catherine Barbara Forman, 77, a resident of the Town of Newburgh for 24 years and formerly of Plattekill and Cortlandt Manor, died on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie.

Born in the Town of Cortlandt on March 13, 1932, she was the daughter of Leonard and Clara Seaboldt Lippert.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and taking care of her dogs.

On December 1, 1972, Catherine married Joseph Forman who predeceased her on February 22, 2007. She was also predeceased by her brother, Robert Lippert.  She is survived by her children, Willard Brown, Jr. and his wife Linda of Stormville, Pamela Baldino and her husband Wayne of Mesa, AZ and Lewis Brown and his partner Steven Amendola of Wappingers Falls; her grandchildren, Erin and Candice Baldino; her great-grandchildren, Justice and Aaliyah; and her brothers Leonard Lippert, Jr. and Wayne Lippert.

Callings hours will be held on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.  The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by interment in Assumption Cemetery in Peekskill.
