Obituary

Catherine "Renee" Guigliano, a longtime resident of Yonkers, NY, and formerly of the Bronx, NY, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025, surrounded by the people she loved most - her adoring family. Born on August 3, 1930, in the Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Cosmo and Millie (Alleva) Barbetto.

On July 7, 1968, Renee married the one true love of her life, Anthony Guigliano, who predeceased her. Their love was a constant throughout her life and a beautiful example to all who knew them.

Throughout her working years, Renee was employed by several companies, most notably IBM in White Plains, NY, where she worked as an office manager. She also worked as a telephone switchboard operator for Ma Bell (AT&T). She was known for her strong work ethic and friendly presence.

Renee enjoyed shopping, visiting casinos - especially playing with the slot machines - and spending time at Yonkers Raceway. However, there was nothing in her life compared to the love she had for her family. Her greatest joy came from being surrounded by them. She treasured every gathering, every conversation, and every moment shared. Renee was happiest when her family was together, and she made each person feel deeply loved, supported, and cherished. Her family was truly her world, and she thrived on the closeness they shared.

She is survived by her beloved sisters, Elsie Quattrucci (Jerry) and Joyce Mascia; and her cherished nieces and nephews: Elisa, Gerard (Denise), John (Michelle), Melissa (Joe), Rudy (Cathy), Dawn (Ben), Laura (Chris), Angelo "Chickie" (Carolyn), Stephanie, Tony (Theresa), and Julie; along with many great-nieces and great-nephews who brought her immense pride and joy.

In addition to her beloved husband Anthony and her parents, Renee was predeceased by her brother Rocco, brother-in-law John, and nephews Michael and Peter.

Renee will be remembered for her unwavering love, her warm heart, and the deep devotion she had to her family - a love that will continue to live on through them always.
