Catherine Sweeney's Obituary
Catherine M. Sweeney, 63, a resident of Wappingers Falls since 1977 and previously of Valhalla, died on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Mid-Hudson Regional Medical Center at Westchester Medical Center.
Born on May 15, 1954 in White Plains, Catherine was the daughter of Herbert and Catherine (Belanger) Schultz.
Catherine was a parishioner of St. Columba Church and enjoyed classic movies and poetry.
She is survived by her children, Melissa Schroers of Riverdale, David Schroers of Hopewell Junction and Dylan Sweeney of Hopewell Junction; and her friend, Karl Schroers of Yorktown.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday at 11:30am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Center or the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
