Obituary

Cecelia Marie Mandarano, 82, a local area resident since 1984, formerly of New Rochelle and Yonkers, died at Wingate at Dutchess in Fishkill on Wednesday, November 2, 2011. She was a homemaker and parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Wappingers Falls.

Born in Yonkers on August 6, 1929, she was the daughter of the late James and Marie Ungemach Mackey. On February 12, 1956 she married Frank Mandarano at Blessed Sacrament Church in New Rochelle. Cecelia was predeceased by her husband on April 29, 2002.

She is survived by her three daughters, Constance Kane & her husband William of Union Vale, Christina Mandarano & Thomas Bouchard of Branford, CT, and Susan Piasecki & her husband Edmund of Hopewell Junction; her grandchildren, James, Daniel & Christina Kane and Matthew, Ryan & Lauren Piasecki; her siblings, Marie Boulet of Beaver Creek, OH, James Mackey of Havertown, PA and Therese Roberts of New Rochelle; her goddaughter, Lynn Mandarano-Swale & her husband Philippe of Philadelphia; also many loving nieces, nephews and other loving family members & friends.

Calling hours will be held from 11a.m. to 1p.m. on Saturday at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30p.m. on Saturday at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction, followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
