Hopewell Junction- Celina W. Rogoz, a resident of Hopewell Junction since 2008, passed away on January 16, 2023. She was 71 years old.

Celina was born in Poland on March 13, 1951, the daughter of Roman and Zenobia Pielka. While in Poland she met and married her loving husband Stanislaw Rogoz. In 2008, they came to the United States to live with their family here.

Celina was an excellent cook and baker, and truly enjoyed taking care of her family. She was a lover of history, enjoyed reading suspense novels, and taking care of her garden, especially her roses. She loved all animals, especially our Boston Terrier, Rusty.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Iwona and her husband Tomasz Slusarz, her son Lukasz Rogoz and his wife Anna, her grandchildren Nicole Slusarz, Liam and Dylan Rogoz, along with many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday January 20, 2023 from 5 pm to 8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill Inc. 1089 Main Street Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 10 am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY.
