EAST FISHKILL - Charalambos M. Peratikos, 82, an area resident for over 62 years, died peacefully at home on December 22, 2024. He previously lived in Cyprus.

Born in Cyprus on March 28, 1942, Charalambos was the son of the late Markos and Eleni (Hadjichristoforou) Peratikos. A skilled hairdresser for almost 60 years, he owned and operated Tiko's Unisex Salon in Beacon, NY for many years. He was a member at Kimisis Greek orthodox Church in Poughkeepsie.

On December 18, 1964 in Beacon, he married Janet E. (Wattley) Peratikos who predeceased him in 2022 after 57 years of marriage. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Markos and Kathleen Peratikos of Wappingers Falls, Michael and Danielle Peratikos of Hopewell Junction, and Elena Peratikos and Janine Loos of Highland; his grandchildren, Sean and his wife Meredith, Stephanie, Alison, Michael, and Heidi; his great-grandchildren, Anthony, Trinity, Markos, and Marley; his sister, Anna (Peratikos) Markou; his nephews and nieces, Markos, Elena, Panaigios, George, and Barbara; and many other cousins, nieces, and nephews in the United States and Cyprus.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 27th from 4 - 7 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th at 11 am at the funeral home followed by burial at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
