Charles Lester Achord passed away on November 27, 2017 in Winchester, Kentucky.

Born on January 15, 1930 in Georgia, Charlie, also known as the "Chief," was a loyal IBEW Local 501 member. He proudly served our country in the US Marine Corps.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Julia Achord; his son, Charles Achord Jr. & Carol of Hopewell Jct.; his daughters, Patricia Pagano & Joe of Mahopac and Cyntia McGorman of Winchester, KY; his grandchildren: Genia Sodano & Dave of Fishkill, Mark White of Carmel, Randy & Stephanie Achord of Beacon, Casey & Stephanie Achord of Wappingers Falls, Audreylee & John Fiorianti of New Hampton, Jesse and Amanda Achord of Fishkill, and CJ McGorman of Winchester, KY; and his great-grandchildren: Carmen Sodano & AJ, Nicholas Sodano, Mark & Leah White, Devin, Alexandra, & Antonia Achord, Camden & Corey Achord, Giovanni, Matteo & Luca Fioriant.

A celebration of Charlie's life will be held at McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 4– 6pm.
