Obituary

Charles Edward Boisselle of New York City and Palm Beach, Florida passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016.

Charles was born in Brooklyn, New York, on October 17, 1927, and remained an active businessman in the Ridgewood/Bushwick community until he became ill earlier this year. Charlie was a US Navy Veteran serving in both World War II and the Korean Conflict. After the war he returned to Brooklyn and became a NYC Firefighter, retiring as a Captain. He was a member of Brooklyn Community Board 4, was an avid contributor to Ridgewood Bushwick Senior Center, and an active member of The Bushwick Club.

Charlie is survived by his wife of 64 years Catherine Carroll Boisselle; five children and their spouses, Charles Edward Jr. and Nora of Reno, NV, Margaret Ann of Charleston, SC, Elizabeth and Ken Breitman of Wappingers Falls, NY, JeanneMarie and Armand Patella of Towson, MD, Andrew and Carola of Manhasset, NY; and ten grandchildren.
