Charles Earley

Charles Earley, Jr., 83, a resident of Dutchess County since 1991 and formerly of the Bronx, passed away on November 29, 2024 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in New York City on May 22, 1941, he was the son of the late Charles and Cleo (Tabb) Earley. Charles attended NYC Public school system and graduated from Taft High School in the Bronx and was later employed as a maintenance supervisor for the NYC Housing Authority.
On May 12, 1962 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Manhattan, Charles married the love of his life Joan. Charles enjoyed listening to Johnny Mathis on his days off from work. Also, he loved driving and riding his Harley Davidson. Charles was always a quiet and reserved man, a dedicated, devoted husband and father. Although he was not very sociable, he loved his family. Charles was survived by his loving wife Joan Earley. He is also survived by his children and their spouses, Sheila and Leroy Stukes, and Charles Derek and Camille Earley; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, 1 nephew and many cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Charles Sr. and Cleo, siblings, Leroy Earley and Letisha Dingle.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 9-10am at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a service at 10am and interment will follow in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
