Charles Bernard Goldman

Charles Bernard Goldman passed away peacefully at home on August 15, 2026. He was 76 years old. Born in Atlantic City, NJ on September 12, 1949, he was the son of the late Stanton and Beatrice (Lipschitz) Goldman. On July 19, 1980, he married his beloved wife Joan (Guzi) Goldman in Fishkill, NY.

Charles was a Bookbinder and Bindery Supervisor. He was an avid bowler for many years at Fishkill Bowl and a member of the Hudson Valley Bowlers Association. He was a car enthusiast, a lifelong NY Yankees fan, and loved art and playing guitar. He loved trips to the beach, watching his grandsons play hockey and spending time in his yard admiring the plants and watching the birds. He enjoyed making his family recipes of thin pancakes for breakfast and chocolate ice cream rolls on Thanksgiving. His family meant everything to him and he loved being a husband, father, and grandfather.

Charles is survived by his wife Joan Goldman; his children: Meadow Goldman and husband Jasper Greve, Carson Goldman, Megan Brewer and husband Jeremy, and Hilary O'Gara and husband Michael and many beloved grandchildren; his sister Nancy Klein and his brother Michael Goldman and wife Edith; as well as many sisters and brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank everyone at Hudson Valley Hospice for their kind and compassionate care these last few weeks.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday August 18, 2026 from 5 - 7 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, 1089 Main St. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday August 19, 2026 at 11:30am at the funeral home, followed by interment at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
